Mikel Leshoure Busted for Pot

ESPN 96.1 out of Grand Rapids posted this status:

“BREAKING: We have reports that Mikel Leshoure is facing a 2nd offense possession of marijuana charge in Berrien County. Thanks to the Herald Pallidium and Jerry for the tip. We’ll get into it today at 3 with Lions Insider Chris McCosky on It Is What It Is.”

That’s a good hour and 15 minutes away. Will we hear something from anybody else before then?

UPDATE: It is started to be reported elsewhere. The Oakland Press Confirmed with ESPN 96.1 and WOOD-TV on the West Side of Michigan.

Birkett also reports Leshoure was

the passenger in a vehicle, and upon being pulled over he eat the weed, though he did comply when asked to spit it out.

update: Lashoure skipped his arraignment, and there is now a warrant for his arrest. From bad to worse!
